Our Laboratories rigorously analyze food products to ensure their authenticity and safeguard against any form of adulteration, including:

Honey Fraud indicators

• Added sugar
• HMF
• Diastase Activity
• Honey Anti-Microbial activity
• QCC Labs is conducting a Lebanese pollen Atlas using Melissopalynology, which is study, serves to identify honey originality and pollen’s source, including the geographical location(s), and genera of plants that honeybees visited

Poultry

Determining whether the poultry previously frozen or fresh.

Dairy and Cheese

Detecting any added starch and precisely identifying the source of fats in dairy and cheese products, distinguishing between animal-based and plant-based origins.

Molasses

Detecting the presence of added sugars, starch and citric acid and to ensure the purity of the product.

Olive Oil

The Organoleptic Olive Oil Lab has a special panelist team recognized by the National Olive Oil Tasting Committee follows the International Olive Oil Council Standards, Conducting sensory taste evaluations.

Distillates and Essential Oils

We perform essential oils and distillates (Rose Water, Flower Water, Thyme Water, Sage Water…) Composition analysis in order to evaluate quality, purity and originality by evaluating the activity of Essential Oils against many kinds of XDR, MDR pathogenic bacteria.
