Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE)

This project is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Business Incubation Association in Tripoli (BIAT). Its purpose is “Increasing MSME productivity by co-investing in Lebanese Light Manufacturing and Services Sectors”.

The project provides the following support for at least 100 MSMEs:

• Business support
• Technical support
• Access to finance through in-kind grants

Target Sectors:

• Food & Beverage Sector including Restaurants, Fisheries, support to fishermen and fishing boats, and Bakeries.
• Traditional Creative and Light Repairs Industry Sector includes service and repair shops, printing and packaging, soap production, forged steel, glass art, Fashion and clothes production, and other interior design products.
