Launching of the “Chamber for Export” Platform in Lebanon
In an exciting collaboration between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon, and with support from the Catalan Organization for Cooperation and Development (ACCD), a groundbreaking initiative has been unveiled – the “Chamber for Export” digital platform.
Designed to address the economic challenges facing Lebanon and create opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in global markets, the “Chamber for Export” platform promises to revolutionize trade operations and foster international connectivity.
Facilitating Global Business Success
At the core of the platform lies a wealth of resources and tools aimed at simplifying export procedures and equipping companies with the knowledge and support needed to succeed on a global scale. From e-learning materials to crucial business insights, the platform acts as a central hub for communication, market expansion, and strategic growth. By streamlining processes such as company registration and enhancing marketing efforts, the platform opens up new avenues for market penetration and increased visibility.
Empowering SMEs through the “Tripoli Forum for Expansion and Growth”
In conjunction with the platform launch, UNDP introduced the “Tripoli Forum for Expansion and Growth,” a transformative initiative that brought together over 100 SMEs. The forum serves as a catalyst for growth by offering emerging companies access to untapped markets and export prospects, fueling a culture of innovation and collaboration.
A Unified Vision for Economic Recovery
Speaking on the significance of this partnership, Raghed Assi, UNDP Crisis Response and Prevention Programme Manager, emphasized the strategic importance of supporting SMEs in navigating complex market landscapes. With a vision to drive sustainable economic growth and foster resilience in the face of adversity, the partnership aims to not only benefit Tripoli but also extend its reach to SMEs nationwide.
Strategic Collaboration for Growth
Mr. Vicens Margalev Parellada, Director of the Catalan Organisation for Cooperation and Development, highlighted the longstanding partnership with UNDP and the shared commitment to empowering local communities and driving economic progress. Mr. Tawfik Dabboussi, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Tripoli, echoed this sentiment by underlining the strategic importance of the “Chamber for Export” platform in bolstering international cooperation and advancing economic development in Lebanon.
As we embark on this journey towards economic empowerment and sustainable growth, the “Chamber for Export” platform stands as a beacon of hope for Lebanese SMEs, paving the way for a brighter future of prosperity and collaboration.
